Maternus (juga dikenal sebagai Maternus II), menurut beberapa sumber meninggal pada tahun 325 atau 344, menurut sumber lain ia hidup pada abad ke-1 M, merupakan seorang santo Katolik Roma dan Uskup Trier ketiga, Uskup Agung Köln pertama dan pendiri keuskupan Tongeren.
Maternus berasal dari Lombardia, dan ia konon berhubungan dekat dengan kaisar Konstantinus, yang terkenal akan kebijaksanaannya. Ia juga berpartisipasi dalam Konsili Roma pada tahun 313 dan Arles pada tahun 314.
Hari perayaannya jatuh pada tanggal 20 September.
