Mawar Putih

Mawar Putih (bahasa Jerman: die Weiße Rosecode: de is deprecated ) adalah gerakan perlawanan kalangan intelektual tanpa kekerasan di Reich Ketiga yang dipimpin oleh sekelompok mahasiswa dan dosen di Universitas München. Kelompok ini melakukan kampanye menyebarkan selebaran dan grafiti anonim yang menyerukan penentangan terhadap rezim Nazi. Kegiatan perlawanan dimulai di München pada 27 Juni 1942, dan berakhir dengan penangkapan anggota kelompok oleh Gestapo pada tanggal 18 Februari 1943.^[1] Mawar Putih, beserta anggota dan pendukung kelompok perlawanan lain, diadili oleh Volksgerichtshof Nazi, dan sebagian besar anggotanya dijatuhi hukuman mati atau dipenjara.

Kelompok ini awalnya menulis, mencetak, dan membagikan selebaran di kawasan München. Kemudian, anggota kelompok membawa salinan selebaran ke kota-kota lain, terutama ke bagian selatan Jerman. Secara total, Mawar Putih menulis enam selebaran, yang digandakan dan disebarkan, dengan total sekitar 15.000 salinan dibagikan kepada masyarakat. Mereka mengecam kejahatan dan penindasan rezim Nazi, dan menyerukan perlawanan. Dalam selebaran kedua, kelompok ini secara terbuka mengecam penganiayaan dan pembunuhan massal Yahudi.^[2] Saat ditangkap, anggota Mawar Putih baru saja akan menjalin kontak dengan kelompok perlawanan Jerman lainnya seperti Lingkaran Kreisau atau kelompok Schulze-Boysen/Harnack dari Orkestra Merah.^[3]
