Maylandia barlowi adalah sebuah spesies cichlid yang menjadi endemik di Danau Malawi dimana spesies tersebut hanya diketahui berasal dari kawasan di sekitaran Kepulauan Maleri. Spesies tersebut dapat mencapai panjang 81 sentimeter (32 in). Spesies tersebut juga ditemukan dalam perdagangan akuarium.[2] Nama spesifik dari spesies tersebut mengambil nama dari iktiologis George W. Barlow (1929-2007).[3]
