Mazmur 55
Mazmur 55 (Penomoran Septuaginta: Mazmur 54) adalah sebuah mazmur dalam bagian ke-2 Kitab Mazmur di Alkitab Ibrani dan Perjanjian Lama dalam Alkitab Kristen. Ditulis oleh Daud.[1][2]

- Pasal ini terdiri dari 24 ayat.
- Dalam versi Terjemahan Baru dari Lembaga Alkitab Indonesia, mazmur ini diberi judul "Doa minta tolong terhadap musuh".
Tradisi Yahudi
- Ayat 14 ditemukan di Pirkei Avot bab 6 nomor 3.[3]
- Ayat 19 dipakai dalam doa seiring ibadah petang Maariv pada Motzei Shabbat [4]
- Ayat 24 ditemukan di Pirkei Avot bab 5 nomor 22.[5]
Penomoran ayat
Dalam Alkitab Indonesia, mazmur ini terdiri dari 24 ayat, di mana ayat 1 adalah pengantar "Untuk pemimpin biduan. Dengan permainan kecapi. Nyanyian pengajaran Daud." (versi Terjemahan Baru dari Lembaga Alkitab Indonesia). Dalam Alkitab Inggris, kalimat pengantar ini tidak diberi nomor ayat, sehingga seluruhnya hanya ada 23 ayat, di mana ayat 1 bahasa Inggris sama dengan ayat 2 bahasa Indonesia dan seterusnya.
