Mbeya adalah sebuah kota yang berlokasi di barat daya Tanzania, kawasan Afrika Timur. Populasi perkotaan Mbeya berjumlah 620.000 orang berdasarkan sensus tahun 2022.[1] Mbeya merupakan ibu kota dari Region Mbeya (dengan populasi total sekitar 2 juta orang, termasuk kota Mbeya). Mbeya berada pada ketinggian 1.700 meter (5.500 kaki), dan terbentang melalui lembah dataran tinggi sempit yang dikelilingi oleh pegunungan tinggi. Bahasa utamanya adalah bahasa Swahili sehari-hari (tak baku), sedangkan bahasa Inggris secara luas diajarkan di sekolah-sekolah.
