Megascolia procer adalah spesies tawon yang tergolong dalam famili Scoliidae. Spesies ini adalah spesies yang menyendiri. Tawon ini dapat ditemui di pulau Jawa dan Sumatra di Indonesia, dan merupakan salah satu tawon terbesar di dunia dengan bentang sayap sepanjang 11,5 cm.[1]
Spesies ini merupakan parasit spesies kumbang Chalcosoma atlas; racunnya memiliki efek yang melumpuhkan.[2] Sayap spesies ini terbuat dari kitin, menjadi gelap akibat adanya melanin, dan dilapisi oleh lapisan transparan setebal 286 nm[3]
