Melinda Doolittle
Melinda Doolittle (lahir 6 Oktober 1977) adalah seorang aktris dan penyanyi asal Amerika. Namanya mulai dikenal setelah ia berhasil masuk dalam tiga besar American idol musim keenam.[1] Sebelum mengikuti American idol, Melinda telah menjadi penyanyi latar (backing vocal) beberapa penyanyi ternama, seperti Michael McDonald, Cece Winans, BeBe, dan sejumlah bintang papan atas lainnya.[1] Bakat menyanyi tersebut sudah terlihat sejak kelas 2 SD.[2] Sekalipun begitu, Melinda tidak pernah melupakan pendidikan.[2] Ia berhasil menyelesaikan studinya dari sebuah universitas di Oklohama. Setelah ajang American idol berakhir, Melinda terus berfokus pada dunia tarik suara.[2] Karakter vokalnya yang luar biasa menjadi ciri khas utama Melinda.[2]
