Menyetrika
Menyetrika adalah pemakaian sebuah mesin, biasanya alat pemanas (setrika), yang menghilangkan kerutan dari kain.[1] Pemanasan tersebut umum dilakukan pada suhu 180–220 °Celsius (356-428 Fahrenheit), tergantung pada jenis kain.
Pemakaian metal pemanas yang pertama kali diketahui untuk "menyetrika" busana-busana diketahui muncul di Tiongkok.[2] Setrika listrik diciptakan pada 1882, oleh Henry W. Seeley. Seeley mempatenkannya pada 6 Juni 1882.[3]
