Mephistopheles (pelafalan dalam bahasa Jerman: [mefɪˈstoːfɛlɛs]; juga dieja Mephistophilus, Mephostopheles, Mephistopheles, Mephisto, Mephastophilis) adalah setan dalam cerita rakyat Jerman.

Nama Mephistopheles terkait dengan legenda Faust yang didasarkan pada tokoh Johann Georg Faust. Menurut legenda ini, Faust menjual jiwanya kepada iblis, dan Mephistopheles menjadi perantaranya.
