Merangin

Merangin adalah sebuah prosesi ritual dalam rangkaian upacara adat Erau di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, Indonesia. Ritual ini dilaksanakan sebelum dan selama Erau sebagai bentuk pemberitahuan kepada makhluk gaib penjaga alam semesta, agar seluruh rangkaian acara berjalan aman dan lancar. Prosesi Merangin dipimpin oleh abdi khusus ritual yang disebut Belian dan Dewa, serta dilaksanakan setiap malam berturut-turut selama rangkaian Erau di lingkungan keraton, kecuali Kamis malam.[1]
