Messier 61 (disebut juga M61 atau NGC 4303) adalah sebuah galaksi spiral yang terdapat di rasi bintang Virgo. M61 ini ditemukan pada 5 Mei 1779 oleh Barnabus Oriani.
M61 adalah salah satu objek terbesar di gugus Virgo.
