Mictlan
Mictlan (pelafalan Nahuatl: [ˈmikt͡ɬaːn]) adalah dunia bawah dalam mitologi Aztek. Sebagian besar orang mati akan masuk ke Mictlan, walaupun terdapat pula kemungkinan-kemungkinan lain. Mictlan terdiri dari sembilan tingkat.[1]
Perjalanan dari tingkat satu ke tingkat sembilan merupakan perjalanan yang sulit, tetapi orang-ong mati dibantu oleh Xolotl. Mereka juga harus menghadapi berbagai rintangan.
Mictlan dikuasai oleh dewa Mictlantecuhtli dan istrinya, Mictecacihuatl.[2]
