Mimbar Gereja
Mimbar gereja adalah sebuah panggung yang berada di dalam gereja yang dipakai untuk menyampaikan khotbah, khususnya pada hari Minggu.[1]
Teologi tentang mimbar
Alister McGrath mencatat bahwa pada abad pertengahan, mimbar biasa dipakai untuk menyampaikan pengajaran-pengajaran umum.[1] Para reformator Kristen Protestan, Martin Luther, Yohanes Kalvin, Zwingli menaruh perhatian cukup besar terhadap khotbah-khotbah yang disampaikan dari mimbar gereja karena menyangkut dogma atau pengajaran tentang hakikat iman dan gereja.[1]
