Minoru Honda (本田 実, Honda Minoru, 26 Februari 1913 – 26 Agustus 1990) adalah seorang astronom Jepang. Mulai tahun 1937, Honda bekerja untuk Issei Yamamoto di Observatorium yang berada di Hiroshima.[1]

Dia menemukan dua belas komet antara tahun 1940 dan 1968, termasuk komet periodik 45P/Honda–Mrkos–Pajdušáková.

Ia menemukan FH Serpentis (Nova Serpentis 1970) pada tanggal 13 Februari 1970 di Kurashiki.[2][3]

Dia adalah orang pertama yang melaporkan V1500 Cygni (Nova Cygni 1975) yang sangat terang dengan magnitudo 3,0 pada 29 Agustus 1975; itu memuncak pada 2.0, dan ratusan penemuan independen kemudian dibuat oleh orang lain.[4]

Asteroid 3904 Honda dinamai menurut namanya, 8485 Satoru dinamai menurut istrinya, dan 11442 Seijin-Sanso dinamai menurut observatorium astronominya.[5]
