Moropus (berarti "kaki lambat") adalah sebuah genus punah hewan mamalia perissodactyl pada famili chalicotheriidae. Mereka berasal dari Amerika Utara dan hidup pada kala Miosen, ~20.4–13.6 juta tauh lalu. Moropus masuk kedalam subfamili schizotheriinae pada chalicotheriidae, dan memiliki catatan fosil paling lengkap di antara chalicotheriidae lainnya. Banyak individu, termasuk kerangka lengkap, telah ditemukan.

Kerabat dekat hidup Moropus adalah perissodactyl lainnya: kuda, badak dan tapir.[2]
