Moshe Weinfeld

Moshe Weinfeld (juga Weinfield, Ibrani: משה ויינפלד) (kelahiran 1925 di Nowy Sącz, Polandia; wafat pada 29 April 2009),[1] adalah Profesor Emeritus Alkitab di Universitas Ibrani Yerusalem dan penerima Penghargaan Israel 1994 untuk Alkitab.

Biografi

Pada 1965, Weinfeld meraih gelar doktor di Universitas Ibrani Yerusalem. Pada 1969, ia diangkat menjadi dosen senior di jurusan Alkitab dari Universitas Ibrani. Pada 1973, Weinfeld menjadi associate professor, dan ia dipromosikan sebagai profesor penuh pada 1978.

Sepanjang kariernya, Weinfeld memegang berbagai jabatan di lembaga-lembaga akademik berikut ini: Jewish Theological Seminary (1967–1969); Brandeis University (1968); University of California, San Diego (1981); University of California, Berkeley (1989).
