Mother's Milk adalah album keempat kelompok musik Red Hot Chili Peppers yang diterbitkan pada 22 Agustus 1989 dan terjual 2 juta keping sampai saat ini, mencapai status platinum. Video klip yang dibuat dari album ini adalah "Knock Me Down", "Higher Ground", "Taste The Pain", "Good Time Boys", dan "Fire".
Sebelum album ini diterbitkan, gitaris Hillel Slovak meninggal pada 25 Juni 1988 sehingga drummer Jack Irons juga hengkang. Mereka digantikan oleh drummer Chad Smith dan gitaris John Frusciante. Judul aslinya adalah The Rockin' Freakapotamus, tetapi setelah kematian Slovak proses rekaman dihentikan. "The Rockin' Freakapotamus" sekarang adalah nama klub penggemar resmi RHCP.
