Mountain of Doom (滅人山 ; Me̍t-ngìn-sân; yang dapat diterjemahkan sebagai "gunung marabahaya"; "gunung malapetaka"), adalah album studio ke-6 dari penyanyi Hakka-Taiwan, Vong Lien-yuk (atau dikenal juga dengan Ayugo Huang). Album ini dirilis pada bulan Desember 2021. Album ini masuk nominasi sekaligus memenangkan penghargaan Best Hakka Album of the 2022 ajang Golden Melody Awards (GMA) ke-33, Kaohsiung Arena tanggal 2 Juli 2022.[1]
Deskripsi
Proses perekaman dan pengolahan album Mountain of Doom dilakukan selama setahun.[2] Lagu utama yang berjudul sama dengan album, Mountain of Doom (Me̍t-ngìn-sân) ditulisnya untuk menggambarkan sejarah masyarakat Hakka yang bermigrasi dari daratan Tiongkok ke Taiwan untuk mengadu nasib, sekitar 200 tahun lalu.[2] Inspirasinya menulis lagu itu adalah untuk menggambarkan sejarah orang Hakka-Taiwan tetapi dengan elemen musik yang modern.[2] Lirik lagu Mountain of Doom berisi tentang kesulitan dan tantangan yang dihadapi orang Hakka saat menuju tanah baru yang penuh bahaya.[2]
