Nass (Islam)
Nass (bahasa Arab: نَصّ, translit. naṣṣ, nash) adalah kata bahasa Arab yang diterjemahkan secara beragam sebagai "perintah hukum yang jelas dan diketahui," "ketetapan ilahi",[1] "sebutan",[2] "hukum tertulis" sebagai lawan dari hukum tidak tertulis,[3] "teks kanonik" yang melarang atau mengharuskan,[4] "bukti tekstual".[5]
Dalam Islam Syiah (Dua Belas Imam dan Ismailiyah), nass secara khusus merujuk pada penunjukan seorang Imam yang tidak pernah salah oleh seorang Imam yang tidak pernah salah sebelumnya.[2]
