Nicholas Peter John "Nick" Hornby[1][2] (lahir 17 April 1957) adalah seorang novelis, esayis, pembuat lirik, dan penulis naskah Inggris. Ia dikenal atas memoir buatannya Fever Pitch dan novel-novel High Fidelity dan About a Boy, semuanya diadaptasi dalam film-film fitur. Karya Hornby kemudian menyentuh musik, olahraga dan alam-alam obsesif dari para protagonisnya. Buku-bukunya terjual lebih dari 5 juta salinan di seluruh dunia pada 2013.[3] Dalam sebuah jajak pendapat tahun 2004 untuk BBC, Hornby diangkat menjadi tokoh paling berpengaruh ke-29 dalam budaya Inggris.[4][5]
