Nikki Pradhan (lahir 8 Desember 1993)[1] adalah pemain hoki lapangan India dan anggota dari tim nasional India. Pradhan adalah pemain hoki lapangan wanita pertama dari Jharkhand yang mewakili India dalam Olimpiade.[2] Pradhan dimasukkan dalam skuad beranggotakan 16 orang untuk Olimpiade Rio, yang juga menandai kembalinya hoki wanita India ke Olimpiade setelah 36 tahun setelah pertunjukan luar biasa di Semifinal Liga Hoki Dunia pada tahun 2015.[3][4]
Awal kehidupan
Pradhan adalah putri ketiga dari Soma Pradhan dan Jitan Devi. Ia berasal dari komunitas Kharwar Bhogta.[5] Pradhan lahir di desa Hesel, Khunti, sekitar 60 kilometer dari Ranchi, Jharkhand, pada tanggal 8 Desember 1993, dari pasangan Soma Pradhan.
Pradhan belajar di Sekolah Menengah Pilaul dan mulai bermain game di usia muda di bawah bimbingan pelatih masa kecilnya Dashrath Mahto.[6]
