Nkroful
Nkroful ialah sebuah desa di dekat Axim di wilayah Western Region di Ghana. Merupakan pedalaman berjarak 5 kilometer dari jalan tol tepi pantai, dari belokan persimpangan desa Essiama. Bahasa lokal yang diucapkan di Nkroful ialah bahasa Nzema, tetapi bahasa Fante dan bahasa Inggris juga dituturkan.
Nkrofu merupakan tempat di mana Kwame Nkrumah, pendiri dan presiden pertama Ghana, lahir pada 21 September 1909 dan dibesarkan, dan juga di mana ia dimakamkan setelah kematiannya pada 1972 – untuk sementara, sebab tubuhnya kemudian dipindahkan ke mausoleum besar di Akra. Nkroful tetap memiliki Mausoleum dan monumen asli Nkrumah, yang terus menarik pengunjung.
