Nymphaea elisabethae adalah spesies fosil dalam famili Nymphaeaceae[2] dari kala Chattian di Rott, dekat Bonn, Jerman.[1]
Deskripsi
Daunnya yang berbentuk bulat telur memiliki tepi yang rata. Sinus basalnya sempit.[2]
Taksonomi
Spesies ini dideskripsikan oleh Carole Terry Gee dan David Winship Taylor pada tahun 2016.[1] Spesies ini ditempatkan dalam subgenus Nymphaea subg. Lotos.[2] Namun, penempatan ini cukup tidak pasti dan Nymphaea elisabethae mungkin lebih dekat kekerabatannya dengan Nuphaea engelhardtii daripada dengan Nymphaea subg. Lotos.[3]
Etimologi
Epitet spesifik elisabethae menghormati Elisabeth Statz Blançon.[2]
