Oktanol
Oktanol adalah alkohol dengan rumus C8H17OH. Salah satu anggota yang sederhana dan penting adalah 1-oktanol, dengan rantai karbon yang tidak bercabang. Oktanol lain yang penting secara komersial adalah 2-oktanol dan 2-etilheksanol. Beberapa oktanol terdapat secara alami dalam bentuk ester dalam beberapa minyak atsiri.[1]
