"Old Me" adalah lagu dari band pop rock asal Australia, 5 Seconds of Summer, dirilis pada 21 Februari 2020, awalnya sebagai singel promosi pertama dari album studio keempat mereka, Calm, sebelum dirilis ke radio pada 6 Maret 2020 sebagai singel keempat album tersebut.[3] Lagu ini ditulis oleh Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Alexandra Tamposi, Andrew Wotman, William Walsh, Louis Bell, Brian Lee dan Andre Proctor.

Latar belakang

Dalam pernyataannya, Hemmings berkata, "'Old Me' membawa semangat muda dan mengikuti narasi pertumbuhan kehidupan anak muda, baik atau buruk. Setiap keputusan yang kami buat, baik benar atau salah, telah membawa kami ke pria yang menjadi bangga hari ini. Kami tampil di hadapan publik pada usia muda dan bersyukur memiliki satu sama lain di saat yang membingungkan. Terkadang penting bagi kami untuk melihat ke belakang untuk menghargai perjalanan yang telah kami lalui bersama.[4]

Musik video

Sebuah musik video untuk mengiringi perilisan "Old Me" pertama kali dirilis ke YouTube pada 10 Maret 2020. Video tersebut disutradarai oleh Hannah Lux Davis, pada Mei 2024, video tersebut telah ditonton lebih dari 40 juta kali.[5]
