On the Bowery adalah sebuah film dokudrama Amerika 1956 garapan Lionel Rogosin. Film tersebut dinominasikan untuk sebuah Academy Award untuk Film Dokumenter Terbaik.[1]
Setelah Perang Dunia Kedua, Lionel Rogosin membuat sebuah sumpah untuk memerangi fasisme dan rasisme dimanapun ia menemukannya. Pada 1954, ia meninggalkan bisnis keluarga (Beaunit Mills-American Rayon Corp.) dalam rangka membuat film-film sejalan dengan gagasannya. Saat ia menginginkan pengalaman, ia menyaksikan sekitaran untuk sebuah subjek
Pada 2008, On the Bowery terpilih untuk penyajian dalam Pendaftaran Film Nasional Amerika Serikat oleh Perpustakaan Kongres karena "signifikan secara budaya, sejarah, atau aestetik."
