Opel Kadett adalah mobil keluarga kecil yang diproduksi oleh produsen Jerman, Opel antara tahun 1937-1940 dan 1962-1991 yang kemudian digantikan oleh Opel Astra.

Kadett B diluncurkan dalam Frankfurt Motor Show pada akhir musim panas 1965.[1][2] Kadett B memiliki ukuran yang lebih besar dibandingkan Kadett A: 5% lebih panjang secara keseluruhan dan dalam hal jarak sumbu roda, 7% lebih lebar, dan 9% lebih berat (berat tanpa muatan), meskipun 10 mm (0,39 in) lebih rendah dalam bentuk standar dasar "Limousine" (sedan/saloon).[3] Produksi untuk jenis ini berakhir pada Juli 1973, di mana model penerusnya diperkenalkan sebulan kemudian setelah akhir musim panas, pada bulan Agustus. Opel GT dengan dua tempat duduk sebagian besar didasarkan pada komponen Kadett B, bodinya dibuat oleh kontraktor Prancis, Brissonneau & Lotz, di pabrik mereka di Creil.
