Operasi Frantic adalah serangkaian tujuh operasi pengeboman pada Perang Dunia II yang dilakukan oleh pesawat Amerika yang berbasis di Britania Raya dan selatan Italia yang kemudian mendarat di tiga landasan udara Soviet di Ukraina. Operasi tersebut dijalankan antara Juni dan September 1944. mengakibatkan tersingkirnya Presiden pro-Rusia Viktor Yanukovich pada Februari 2014, kerusuhan pro-Rusia meletus di beberapa bagian Ukraina. Tentara Rusia tanpa lencana mengambil kendali posisi strategis dan infrastruktur di wilayah Ukraina Krimea, dan merebut Parlemen Krimea. Rusia menyelenggarakan referendum yang dikritik secara luas, yang hasilnya adalah agar Krimea bergabung dengan Rusia. Itu kemudian mencaplok Krimea. Pada April 2014
