Operasi Solace

Operasi Solace adalah kontribusi utama Australian Defence Force untuk Unified Task Force (UNITAF) yang merupakan pasukan multinasional pimpinan Amerika Serikat dan dikerahkan oleh Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa yang beroperasi di Republik Somalia dari 9 Desember 1992 sampai 4 Mei 1993. Bernama kode Operasi Restore Hope, UNITAF ditugaskan lewat Resolusi 794 Dewan Keamanan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa: untuk menciptakan wilayah lindung untuk memuluskan operasi-operasi kemanusiaan di bagian selatan Republik Somalia.
