Operasi Wilfred
Operasi Wilfred adalah operasi angkatan laut Inggris selama Perang Dunia Kedua, dengan menebar ranjau laut di selat-selat yang memisahkan pulau-pulau kecil dengan daratan Norwegia untuk mencegah transportasi pengiriman bijih besi dari Swedia ke Jerman melalui perairan Norwegia yang netral.
Sekutu berasumsi bahwa Operasi Wilfred akan memprovokasi respons Jerman di Norwegia dan menyiapkan operasi terpisah yang dikenal sebagai Rencana R 4 untuk menduduki Narvik dan lokasi-lokasi penting lainnya.[1]
Pada 8 April 1940, sebagian Operasi Wilfred telah dijalankan, tetapi di hari berikutnya terjadi Operasi Weserübung yang menandai dimulainya Kampanye Norwegia yaitu invasi Jerman ke Norwegia dan Denmark.
