Telmatherininae, atau lebih dikenal dengan nama opudi di pulau Sulawesi adalah sebuah subfamili ikan dalam ordo Atheriniformes dari keluarga Melanotaeniidae,[1] yang menghuni air tawar dan air payau. Semua spesies kecuali Kalyptatherina helodes terbatas di pulau Sulawesi, Indonesia, dan sebagian besar hanya ditemukan di sistem Danau Malili, yang terdiri dari Matano dan Towuti, dan Lontoa kecil (Wawantoa), Mahalona dan Masapi.[2][3][4]

Mereka adalah ikan kecil, biasanya berkisar antara 3 hingga 8 cm (1,2 hingga 3,1 in) panjangnya,[2] meskipun Paratherina terbesar bisa mencapai hampir dua kali lipat ukurannya.[4]
