Otot trapezius adalah otot yang menyusun struktur punggung manusia. Dinamakan trapezius, sebab bentuknya mirip dengan bangun trapesium; sudut-sudutnya berada di leher, dua berada di kedua bahu, dan satu sudut lainnya melekat di tulang punggung T12.
Seseorang dapat merasakan otot ini bekerja dengan meraba punggung dengan satu tangan dan memegang otot di antara leher dan bahu.
Origo
Serat ototnya berasal dari leher dan turun ke bagian bawah dan kemudian terletak lateral dari lengan. Terdapat bagian serat menuju ke bagian bahu.
Insersio
Ujung akhir dari serat otot berakhir di clavicula, acromion, dan spina dari skapula.
