Otto dari Freising
Otto dari Freising (Otto Frisingensis) (c. 1114 – 22 September 1158) adalah seorang gerejawan dan pembuat kronik Jerman. Ia menjabat sebagai Uskup Freising dari 1138.
Kehidupan
Otto lahir di Klosterneuburg sebagai putra kelima dari Leopold III, margrave Austria dan istrinya Agnes, putri dari kaisar Henry IV. Dari suami pertamanya, Frederick I dari Hohenstaufen, Adipati Swabia, Agnes adalah ibu dari raja Jerman Conrad III dan nenek dari kaisar Frederick I. Saudari Otto, Judith atau Ita, menikah dengan Marquess William V of Montferrat. Otto memiliki hubungan dengan keluarga-keluarga paling berkuasa di Jerman dan utara Italia.
