Publius Ovidius Naso (Sulmona, 20 Maret 43 SM—Tomis, sekarang Constanţa, 17 M), adalah seorang penyair Romawi yang dikenal oleh masyarakat berbahasa Inggris sebagai Ovid, yang menuliskan topik-topik cinta, perempuan yang terabaikan, dan transformasi mitologi. Bersama-sama dengan Virgil dan Horace, dikenal sebagai tiga penyair kanon dari kesusateraan Latin, Ovid pada umumnya dianggap sebagai pujangga terbesar untuk bait elegi.
