Paderborn (dilafalkan: paːdɐˈbɔʁn) adalah kota universitas yang juga merupakan ibu kota dari Distrik Paderborn. Selain dari pusat kotanya sendiri, kota Paderborn terdiri dari Schloss Neuhaus, Wewer, Sande, Dahl, Elsen, Marienloh, Neuenbeken, dan Benhausen. Paderborn adalah kota kedua terbesar dari wilayah Ostwestfalen-Lippe setelah Bielefeld bila dihitung dari jumlah penduduk.
Selain dari lebih dari 140.000 penduduknya, kota ini juga ditinggali oleh lebih dari 9.000 warga negara Inggris, yang umumnya merupakan anggota keluarga dari prajurit atau memiliki hubungan dengan Angkatan Bersenjata Inggris.
