Palaeocarcharodon adalah genus hiu yang tergolong ke dalam famili Cretoxyrhinidae. Palaeocarcharodon orientalis adalah satu-satunya spesies yang terdapat di dalam genus ini. Hiu ini hidup pada kala Paleosen sekitar 61,7 hingga 55,8 juta tahun yang lalu.[1]
Deskripsi
Gigi Palaeocarcharodon berbentuk segitiga. Panjang giginya dapat mencapai 3-6 cm.[2]
