Patrick Leahy
Patrick Joseph Leahy (/ˈleɪhi/; lahir 31 Maret 1940) adalah seorang politikus Amerika Serikat yang menjabat sebagai Senator Amerika Serikat senior dari Vermont, sebuah kursi di mana ia mula-mula terpilih pada 1974. Sebagai seorang anggota Partai Demokrat, Leahy memegang jabatan presiden pro tempore Senat Amerika Serikat dari 17 Desember 2012 sampai 3 Januari 2015. Dan menjadi Presiden Pro Tempore Emiritus Senat Amerika Serikat dari 3 Januari 2015 sampai 20 Januari 2021. Ia terpilih kembali menjadi Presiden Pro Tempore Senat Amerika Serikat pada 20 Januari 2021 setelah Partai Partai Demokrat memenangkan kursi mayoritas pada Pemilihan Senat Amerika Serikat tahun 2020-2021. Saat ini ia berada di urutan ketiga pada suksesi presiden Amerika Serikat setelah Wakil Presiden Kamala Harris dan Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Amerika Serikat Nancy Pelosi.
