Peperangan gunung merujuk kepada praktik perang yang terjadi di daerah pegunungan atau bentang alam yang memiliki kontur serupa. Jenis peperangan tersebut juga disebut peperangan Alpen, yang diambil dari nama pegunungan Alpen. Peperangan gunung adalah salah satu jenis peperangan paling berbahaya di mana para prajurit yang terlibat tidak hanya berjuang melawan musuh tetapi juga cuaca ekstrem dan kontur tanah yang berbahaya.
