Perang agresi

Perang agresi, terkadang juga perang penaklukan, adalah konflik militer yang dilakukan tanpa alasan untuk membela diri, biasanya demi keuntungan dan penaklukan teritorial.

Dalam keputusan Pengadilan Militer Internasional di Nuremberg, setelah Perang Dunia II, "Perang pada dasarnya adalah hal yang jahat. Konsekuensinya tidak terbatas pada negara-negara yang berperang saja, tetapi memengaruhi seluruh dunia. Oleh karena itu, untuk memulai perang agresi , bukan hanya kejahatan internasional; ini adalah kejahatan internasional tertinggi yang hanya berbeda dari kejahatan perang lainnya karena di dalamnya terdapat akumulasi kejahatan secara keseluruhan."[1][2]
