Perkara Mingrelia

Skandal Mingrelia, atau kasus Mingrelia (bahasa Rusia: Мингрельское дело, mingrel’skoe delo; bahasa Georgia: მეგრელთა საქმე, megrelt’a sak’me), adalah serangkaian kasus kriminal yang timbul pada 1951 dan 1952 dalam rangka menuduh beberapa anggota Partai Komunis RSS Georgia dari suku Mingrelia atas dakwaan pembangkangan dan kolaborasi dengan kekuatan-kekuatan Barat.

Peristiwa

Diinisiasikan atas perintah pribadi pemimpin Soviet Joseph Stalin, skandal tersebut tampaknya ditujukan untuk menyingkirkan pengaruh Lavrentiy Beria, karena Stalin merasa semakin curiga dengannya.[1]
