Petrinja (pelafalan dalam bahasa Serbo-Croatian: [pětriːɲa]) adalah sebuah kota di Kroasia tengah dekat Sisak di wilayah bersejarah Banovina. Secara administratif terletak di Kabupaten Sisak-Moslavina.[2]
Pada tanggal 29 Desember 2020, kota tersebut diguncang gempa bumi berkekuatan 6,4 Mw, menyebabkan kerusakan yang signifikan pada kota tersebut.[3]
Nama Petrinja berakar dari bahasa Yunani pètra, πέτρα, yang berarti "batu" melalui bahasa Latin petrus. Konon kota ini ada pada zaman Romawi di daerah Zrinska Gora yang sangat kaya akan bebatuan.[4]
