Philanthropinum
Philanthropinum (dari kata Yunani: φίλος = teman, dan άνθρωπος = manusia) adalah sebuah sekolah reformis progresif di Dessau, Jerman dari 1774 sampai 1793. Sekolah tersebut berdasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip filantropinisme, sebuah gerakan pendidikan yang berkembang di wilayah berbahasa Jerman pada Abad Pencerahan.
Sejarah
Philanthropinum, atau "Sekolah Filantropi" didirikan pada 27 Desember 1774 oleh dua orang reformis pendidikan Jerman, yakni Johann Bernhard Basedow (1724–1790) dan Christian Heinrich Wolke (1741–1825).
