Piala Mitropa , yang secara resmi disebut La Coupe de l'Europe Centrale atau Piala Eropa Tengah , adalah salah satu piala sepak bola besar Eropa internasional pertama untuk klub-klub. Hal ini dilakukan di antara negara-negara penerus bekas Austria-Hongaria . Setelah Perang Dunia II pada tahun 1951 diadakan turnamen pengganti bernama Piala Zentropa , tetapi hanya untuk satu musim, nama Piala Mitropa dihidupkan kembali, dan kembali pada tahun 1958 nama turnamen diubah menjadi Piala Danube tetapi hanya untuk satu musim. Turnamen ini dihentikan setelah tahun 1992.
