Pierre-Louis Padang Coffin adalah animator dan sutradara Prancis. Ia lahir tanggal 1 November 1967 dari pasangan Yves Coffin, seorang diplomat Prancis, dan Nh. Dini, penulis ternama asal Indonesia.[1] Ia bersekolah di Gobelins di Paris dan mengawali kariernya di Amblimation, studio animasi 2D di London. Di sana ia mengerjakan We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story besutan Steven Spielberg. Ia kemudian menjadi animator lepas di studio CGI Prancis Ex Machina sebagai animator, pengawas animasi, dan sutradara. Setelah itu, ia dan Chris Renaud berkolaborasi dengan Passion Pictures Paris dan Mac Guff dalam proyek film fitur animasi CGI Despicable Me (2010) pesanan Universal. Ia juga mengisi suara untuk beberapa tokoh figuran. Pierre Coffin juga membuat animasi berjudul Pings (film animasi penguin yang dilukai atau dibunuh).

Pada tahun 2013, Coffin dan Renaud menjadi sutradara Despicable Me 2. Ia dan Kyle Balda akan menyutradarai film pecahan Despicable Me, Minions (2014).[2]
