Pikoplatin adalah agen antineoplastik berbasis platinum dalam pengembangan klinis oleh Poniard Pharmaceuticals (sebelumnya NeoRx) untuk perawatan pasien dengan tumor padat.[1]

Dalam uji klinis Fase I dan Fase II, pikoplatin menunjukkan aktivitas pada berbagai tumor padat, termasuk kanker paru-paru, ovarium, kolorektal, dan hormon refrakter hormon.[2] Namun, dalam uji coba Fase III, picoplatin gagal mencapai titik akhir utamanya untuk kanker paru-paru sel kecil lanjut.[3] Harapan sekarang disematkan pada penggunaannya untuk kanker kolorektal metastatik.[4]
