Pirimikarb

Pirimicarb adalah insektisida karbamat selektif yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan kutu daun pada tanaman sayuran, sereal dan kebun dengan menghambat aktivitas asetilkolinesterase tetapi tidak memengaruhi predator yang berguna seperti kepik yang memakannya. Awalnya dikembangkan oleh Imperial Chemical Industries Ltd., sekarang Syngenta, di situs Jealott's Hill mereka dan pertama kali dipasarkan pada tahun 1969, empat tahun setelah penemuannya.[1][2][3][4]
