Polisi kampus

Polisi kampus adalah kesatuan polisi kampus yang bertugas membantu memberi perlindungan dan penegakan hukum yang ditentukan oleh akademi dan administrator universitas.[1]

Sejarah

Universitas Yale pada tahun 1894 pertama kali mendirikan departemen kepolisian kampus saat itu baru mempekerjakan dua orang aparat. Mulai tahun 1920 Polisi Kampus menjadi salah satu bagian dari institusi dalam pendidikan, tugas utamanya saat ini adalah mengamankan gedung pada malam hari dan akhir pekan terutama mengunci dan membuka pintu dan jendela.[1]
