Prokoagulan kanker adalah protein yang dihipotesiskan, kemungkinan besar merupakan enzim sistein protease (EC 3.4.22.26), yang hanya muncul pada sel janin dan sel ganas. Aktivitasnya tampak berupa pengaktifan faktor X, salah satu faktor koagulasi, dan dapat menjelaskan peningkatan insiden trombosis pada pasien kanker. Faktor jaringan (TF) juga diketahui hadir dalam tingkat yang meningkat di sekitar sel ganas.
