Prototype Ltd. (株式会社プロトタイプ, Kabushiki kaisha Purototaipu) adalah sebuah perusahaan perangkat lunak asal Jepang yang didirikan pada 27 Maret 2006 oleh Toshio Tabeta, seorang mantan produser Interchannel. Saat masih dengan Interchannel, tim Tabeta bertanggung jawab utamanya untuk pengembangan dan penerbitan versi-versi dari novel-novel visual yang aslinya diterbitkan oleh VisualArt's untuk platform-platform pelanggan seperti PlayStation 2 dan PlayStation Portable. Setelah Prototype berpisah dari Interchannel, perusahaan tersebut masih berkarya dengan VisualArt's.
