Provinsi Oriente

Oriente (Spanyol: "Timur") adalah salah satu dari enam provinsi di Kuba sampai 1976. Provinsi tersebut dikenal sebagai "Provinsi Santiago de Cuba" sebelum 1905. Nama tersebut masih digunakan untuk menyebut bagian timur negara tersebut. Ibu kota provinsialnya adalah Santiago de Cuba. Fidel dan Raúl Castro lahir disana.

Provinsi tersebut dipecah pada 1976, dengan penataan ulang pemerintahan diproklamasikan oleh Hukum Kuba Nomor 1304 pada 3 Juli 1976.[1] Oriente sekarang diduduki oleh 5 provinsi:
